Brenton and Kerri came to town and ended up mending those sunflowers because there were a billion little black furry catapillars demolishing them. Brian and I were ready to cut 'em down but with Brenton and Kerri's endless patience, they picked off all the little black furrballs. Sadly, this is the only picture I took the whole time they were here. Don't let those sad looks deceive you, we had a wonderful weekend - trip to Corpus Christi beach, base pool swim, snow cones, great conversations, and a little bit of King Ranch. Loved relaxing with family!
The Schroeder's came the following weekend and like Brenton and Kerri, we put them right to work with making the key lime pie! If you can tell, Chris is using a wrench to squeeze the key limes. These engineers make sure things are efficient! We had an awesome time filled with catching up, swimming, trip to base to see the T-45, a tour of the USS Lexington, mexican food, and outlet malling!
