The Entourage

Have a baby and they will come....The Grandparents! Brian and I are thrilled to announce that all the Grandparents have met little Piper. She was on her best behavior and had a fabulous time with each and every one of them over the past three weekends.

The weekends began with a trip from the Sullivan's. Food and errands in Corpus, an afternoon in Kingsville, and then Brian had a Navy gig to attend in the evening so Piper and I got some quality time with Papa and Yaya. It was so relaxing and it felt so good to catch up.




The next weekend, Grandma came down. More errand running, cooking, cleaning and crafting made up most of her stay. The walks we took and conversations we had were marvelous and much needed. Plus, how could I refuse another set of hands "on deck" so I could enjoy long showers! Might I also add, a wild game of scrabble ensued - in which I took no prisoners.



Lastly, Grandpa Walt and Grandma Deb came down. We ventured out to Baffin Bay cafe and then came home to cook up some fabulous surf and Texas turf. (They did the cooking while Piper and I looked on in awe). The food and drink were stellar - as was the convo's and catch-up.

These brief synopsis don't do justice to how much Brian, Piper and I enjoyed everyone's stay (Juneau and Tommy loved it too); we feel so blessed and Piper is starting to get an idea of how many people love her...TONS! :)
Maybe we could sneak up to KC with Piper... in the Piper...sometime in April or May to see more family!
